Video

Video Content Moderation forms a big part of portals where videos are shared, or profiles contain videos which are uploaded. Portals of Profiles may have videos of people wherein they are demonstrating their talent, or opinions, views and ideas. There are other sharing portals where advertisements and other media are hosted where people can view the shared videos for their entertainment. In either case, videos are one of the principle visual means of communication which portray a great deal of information in a short amount of time. As is the case with all kinds of content, video content can rather easily contain harmful or offensive malicious content. Video content moderation is one of the services we provide at NeuroSpeech. Depending on the severity of moderation, the desired level of cleanliness on a portal, and the target audience which visits the hosted portal, moderation criteria are often designed. Typically, for a thorough study of the video content for moderation, we usually can screen 45 minutes of video each hour. However, if the severity of moderation required isn’t all that high, then up to 75 minutes of video content can be moderated each hour.

Audio content is usually found in profiles where performers, actors, musicians, and other exhibitors put up their recorded content for audiences to hear, thereby using the hosting portal as a showcase for their talent. Further, there are many sharing portals where audiences from around the world can share audio clippings for their own entertainment. Again, depending on the severity of moderation, the desired lepvel of cleanliness on a portal, and the target audience which visits the hosted portal, moderation criteria are often designed. Typically for a thorough study of the audio content for moderation, we usually can moderate 45 minutes of audio content each hour. However, if the severity of moderation required isn’t all that high, then up to 55 minutes of audio content can be moderated each hour.

Images are found everywhere on the internet. It is THE PRINCIPLE form of media content used in the www today. Most websites are usually flooded with images which convey the message of the site clearly with the visitor having the least amount of text to read. Again, this is from the portal hosts’ point of view. Other forms of images are typically found in profiles of community portals, and often shared portals where pictures are hosted for entertainment purposes. Whatever the reason, there are those who appreciate some images, and there are those who get offended by other images. Like in all cases, depending on the severity of moderation, the desired level of cleanliness on a portal, and the target audience which visits the hosted portal, moderation criteria are often designed. Typically 50 images can be moderated in each hour, for a thorough study of the image content, and if the severity of content moderation required is lower, then up to 60 images can be moderated each hour.

Like is the case with ALL types of media, text can be agreeable to some, and offensive to others, depending on what is written in that piece of text. Typically, 150 words per minute can be moderated by our teams. There can logically be only one level of thoroughness with text, for it is the form of media that we cannot simply scan through, but have to read carefully and understand both the written word and the contextual meaning behind them.
